Jeffrey Dahl

Jeff Dahl has accumulated 27 years of experience in the investment industry including 10 years as an investment advisor with Canarim Investments Ltd. (now Canaccord Genuity). Focusing on natural resource investments, Jeff successfully built a clientele while participating in numerous public and private financings. In 1993 he co-founded SAMEX and for more than 17 years has provided vision and strong leadership that has supported SAMEX’s strategic growth and stability. In addition, Jeff has broadly researched financial markets, monetary systems, and gold and silver as sound money investments.
Robert E. Kell
VP Exploration & Director
Rob Kell holds a B.S. Degree in Geology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Before joining SAMEX in 1994, Rob held senior-level exploration and contract geologist positions with several of the world’s leading mining companies including Anaconda Minerals Company, BHP, and Newmont Overseas. Rob participated in the original platinum/palladium discoveries at Stillwater, Montana and the Dall cu/zn/ag massive sulphide discovery in Alaska.
Larry McLean
VP Operations & Director
Larry McLean is an experienced operations manager having worked with mineral exploration companies for more than 22 years. He has been with SAMEX since 1995 and is responsible for coordinating administrative, financial, legal, and regulatory compliance. From 1969 to 1980 Larry was a police officer with the Calgary Police Service.
Peter J. Dahl
Chairman & Director
Peter Dahl is a co-founder of SAMEX. As an entrepreneur, his wide-ranging business experience includes ownership and management of several commercial agricultural farms over a 22-year period plus 11 years as Executive Director and Director of Development for a Canadian counselling society.
Allen Leschert
Director & Counsel
Allen is a senior member of the Securities Bar in Vancouver, BC with over 25 years experience with public mining companies. He has pioneered a number of unique public company financing and transaction structures and has handled numerous public mining transactions, public listings, joint ventures, financings, corporate takeovers, mergers and acquisitions in Canada and around the world. Allen is also the president of Armex Mining Corp., a private BC based company. He holds an LL.B from the University of Victoria and a B.Com (with distinction) from the University of Alberta.
Malcolm Fraser
Director
Malcolm has been a practicing professional in the mining industry for over 45 years. His experience includes ferrous, non-ferrous and precious metals in exploration, development, production and mining law. Over the past 20 years he has been a director, senior officer and member of audit, technical, and compensation committees for a number of exploration and production TSX-V listed companies. He has degrees from Queens (B.Sc., Geological Engineering), Harvard (MA, Economic Geology) and Osgoode Hall (LL.B.).
