SAMEX MINING CORPORATION (VSE-SXG.V) - has eight mineral projects in Bolivia in various stages of exploration and development. The Company began actively acquiring and developing Bolivian mineral properties in 1993, prior to the onset of intense exploration activity in that country. With this advantage SAMEX was able to select properties with "world-class" bulk-tonnage potential. Recently completed financings totaling about CN$3 million have facilitated programs to drill test and further develop the properties. Positive assay results from the company's Yaretani Project in Bolivia have provided confirmation of strata-bound gold mineralization on the property. Drilling is ongoing and assay results continue to enhance the property's potential to host a bulk tonnage gold deposit. SAMEX has also commenced a core drilling program at the Santa Isabel Porphyry Copper-Gold Project which covers a well mineralized volcanic-porphyry intrusive complex in southwestern Bolivia. Systematic exploration involving geologic mapping, geochemistry and geophysics has defined a world-class target with dimensions comparable to porphyry copper-gold deposits that host more than one billion tonnes of ore. This property is situated in the belt which hosts porphyry copper-gold deposits Agua Rica (1.28+ billion tons @0 .51% Cu) and Bajo de la Alumbrera (0.75 billion tones @ 0.56% Cu).
